the right to LISTEN to clips and BUY her music! A little snapshot of who Elizabeth is... a story of All Love, All Joy and a Wish Granted! When Susan Kay was recording her first CD "Something Sacred Here", she was pregnant with Elizabeth. Elizabeth calls that music "our sacred music". It is her womb music and when she hears it she returns to that warm and loving place. Elizabeth's name was carefully thought out. After watching the Movie "Elizabeth" about The Queen, Susan Kay knew that if she had a daughter, she would be a great leader. She would be loving, wise, beautiful, powerful, funny, compassionate and resilient. Her mom's greatest wish for Elizabeth was for her to be happy. Elizabeth is most often described by those who meet her as being "full of joy". Wish granted. When Elizabeth was born, she looked at her mom with a smile as if to say "hi!" They said she was the most content and happy baby in the hospital nursery. Susan Kay tells Elizabeth the amazing and loving story of her birth often. She definitely knows and feels that she is quite possibly the most loved child on the planet. All children should hear that story and feel that way. When Elizabeth was 2, Mommy wrote and produced her second album "Speak the Word". When Elizabeth was 3 her mom began to write the music for "The Twelve Gifts of Birth". She learned about all of the gifts we are all born with while she sat in on the writing sessions with her mommy & Rob & Kasi Peters. She would have been on the recordings too, but she wouldn't sing in the studio. She was only interested in eating goldfish crackers and drinking from her sippy cup. They still joke about how her mom fired her from the project. When Elizabeth was 4 mommy took a break and they just played and played. When Elizabeth was 5 years old, she wrote two simple songs in two days. The inspiration for this came from a spiritual chant or mantra that her mom was singing in the car that they both found profoundly centering. Elizabeth and Mom sang together as they often do and that night she wrote "God is Always With Us". She asked to go to the piano, which she never wanted to do, and also that we "Call Rob (Peters)". The very next day Elizabeth was jumping on Mommy's bed and called to tell mommy that she had just written her next song, "Pray God". When her mom asked if she didn't mean "Pray TO God", Elizabeth said, "No mommy, God needs to pray for us all." The other meaning of this song she pointed out is simply that all people should pray or focus on God energy in whatever way that means for them. At 6 she gave her first speech at her school imploring her peers to notice the litter on campus and stop, think and make good choices. Now at age 7 she is busy with Karate, Chinese, Gymnastics, Piano & Soccer (All at her own request) keeping her very busy. She loves school, play dates with friends, reads for hours each day and has written numerous short stories. Elizabeth and Susan Kay are two peas in a pod. They spend a lot of time singing songs, laughing, quoting movie lines, being "wicky wacky" and hugging "daddy" (Larry). She and Susan Kay produce a Christmas show for "Daddy" each year, which includes the "Sisters" number from White Christmas including Blue feather fans. Oh yes, and she can be extremely sassy too. All Love, All Joy... Wish granted. |
